The Impact We Make
At The City Welfare, we don’t just provide support; families belong to a community of care, intention and possibilities.
Since our inception, we have fed over 25,000 individuals in London. Our dedicated team works directly in neighbourhoods, delivering food, toiletries, and baby care packages to those who need them most. We also provide mentorship and workshops to empower families, creating pathways to long-term stability.
During the early peaks of COVID-19 in 2020. Inspired by her own experiences with food insecurity, our founder Ruth, a passionate young woman from Lambeth, who saw firsthand the devastating effects of food poverty established our organisation ethos to provide immediate relief and lasting support to those in need.
